• AI chat assistant for real-time fitness questions and support
• HealthKit integration for enhanced personalization (optional)

2. User Eligibility and Age Requirements

Age Requirements

• 13+ years: Required minimum age to use ChattyFit
• 13-17 years: Parental consent and supervision recommended
• 18+ years: Full independent use of all features
• Under 13: Not permitted to use the application

Fitness Requirements

• You must be physically capable of engaging in fitness activities
• Consult with healthcare professionals before starting any new fitness program
• Inform the AI about any medical conditions or physical limitations

3. Account and Data Responsibilities

Local Data Storage

ChattyFit stores all your personal data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device (passcode, biometrics)
• Backing up your device to preserve your ChattyFit data
• Understanding that uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data
• Providing accurate information for safe and effective recommendations

Profile Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information about:

• Your physical characteristics (height, weight, age)
• Fitness goals and experience level
• Medical conditions and physical limitations
• Allergies or dietary restrictions

4. AI Services and Third-Party Providers

AI Processing

ChattyFit uses AI services (DeepSeek, OpenRouter) to provide personalized fitness guidance. By using our chat features, you understand that:

• Your messages and relevant profile data are sent to AI providers for processing
• AI responses are generated based on your input and training data
• AI recommendations should be used as guidance, not absolute truth
• We do not store your conversations on our servers

Secure API Distribution

We use Apple App Attest and Cloudflare Workers to securely distribute API keys, ensuring only legitimate app installations can access AI services.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ChattyFit only for legitimate fitness and health improvement purposes.

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
• Share API keys or attempt to access AI services directly

6. Health and Safety Disclaimers

ChattyFit is not intended to replace essential health services, emergency medical care, or professional medical supervision.

Your privacy is protected under our comprehensive Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
